Simply the best airport in the world
Changi sets the standard. Everything is immaculate from the butterfly garden to the waterfall in Jewel. The efficiency is remarkable - immigration took 5 minutes and bags appeared immediately. Free Wi-Fi is actually fast. The variety and quality of food exceeds many city centers. Transit through here is a pleasure not a chore. Staff are exceptionally helpful. Even the bathrooms feel luxurious. If I could route every flight through Singapore I would.

Plenty of comfortable seating with charging points everywhere. Food options cater to every preference and budget. Wi-Fi was fast enough for video calls. The showers in the transit areas are a godsend on long journeys. This is how airports should be designed.
Always a pleasant experience
As a Singaporean, I fly out of Changi regularly and it never gets old. The efficiency is what you expect but the amenities go beyond. Free movie theater, gardens, play areas for kids. Immigration and customs are quick. The range of food from hawker fare to fine dining is impressive. MRT connection to the city is convenient and cheap. Only minor gripe is Terminal 4 feels more cramped than the others during peak times.
