Shanghai Pudong impresses with its scale and modernity. Terminal 2 is sleek and spacious. Immigration was quick with automated gates. The Maglev train is a must-experience if heading to the city. Food options blend Chinese and international cuisines well. Wi-Fi was fast after registration. Staff were professional though English was limited. Duty-free shopping is extensive. The only minor issue was the very long walk to some gates.

First time in Shanghai. Pudong handled our arrival professionally despite English being limited. The automated immigration kiosks worked smoothly. Baggage came quickly. Metro connection to the city required some figuring out but ultimately straightforward. Terminal facilities are modern and clean. Food courts had picture menus which helped. Wi-Fi registration process was a bit convoluted. Would definitely route through here again.

Transited through Pudong from Tokyo to LA. The 144-hour visa-free transit allowed me to explore Shanghai. Airport process was smooth with clear signage in English. The variety of food is good though authenticity varies. Shopping areas are huge with luxury brands and local goods. Lounges were comfortable. Wi-Fi speed was decent. The inter-terminal train is efficient. Bathrooms were very clean. Overall excellent for international connections.
