O'Hare is massive and you'll do a lot of walking. The tunnel between terminals with the light show is cool the first time. TSA security varied wildly - Terminal 3 took an hour, Terminal 1 was 15 minutes. Food options are decent with local Chicago spots represented. Blue Line train to downtown is affordable but takes a while. Wi-Fi was surprisingly good. Cleanliness was hit or miss depending on the terminal.

Had a 4-hour layover between coasts. The walk between gates was longer than expected but moving walkways helped. Found a decent Mexican place in Terminal 1 that wasn't too overpriced. Plenty of charging stations once you find them. Wi-Fi worked fine for browsing. Staff were friendly enough. The airport definitely shows its age in some sections but it's functional. Would prefer a shorter connection time here given the size.

Regular business traveler through ORD. The renovations are making a difference - Terminal 5 international looks modern now. TSA Pre lanes move efficiently most times. Tortas Frontera and other Rick Bayless restaurants are legitimately good. The terminals are connected airside which is convenient for connections. Parking garage is well-organized with decent rates for long-term. Still gets crowded during peak times but generally manageable.
