Heathrow gets criticized but I found Terminal 5 quite pleasant. The immigration queue moved steadily despite the crowd. Plenty of shopping options and the food selection has improved since my last visit. The Heathrow Express to Paddington is pricey but fast. Signage could be clearer in places - got turned around looking for baggage claim. Staff were helpful when I finally asked. Clean facilities throughout.

Connected through Terminal 3 from Delhi to Boston. The transfer process was well-organized with clear signage for connections. Shopping area has good variety though prices are high. Managed to find a quiet corner with outlets to work during my 3-hour layover. Staff at information desk gave excellent directions. The only frustration was Wi-Fi requiring constant re-authentication. Bathrooms were maintained well throughout the day.

Terminal 2 was chaotic during peak hours. Security took 45 minutes even with fast track. The layout feels cramped compared to newer airports. Food options are standard UK chains, nothing special. Wi-Fi worked but was slow for video calls. The plus side is excellent public transport links - the Tube connection is convenient and affordable. Bathrooms were clean enough. Not somewhere I'd want to spend extra time if I could avoid it.
